  1. I can not figure out how to have two different Orders of Service for the same Sunday. Could someone guide me? For example, early service DS3, late service DS1 and vice versa. Currently I am creating one, saving it as .doc, exporting for powerpoint. then going back in and creating the other service, etc.

But this wipes out the first Service and sometimes I need to make changes which means recreating the first. This is just frustrating. Am I missing some easy way to do this?

I had the same problem until I created 2 different "LOCATIONS" in "PREFERENCES" under the "EDIT" menu; one for DS1; another for DS3. Then you can switch between the two LOCATIONS under the CALENDER, and save both services.

  3. Thanks I will give this a try!

Ok, this isn't working for me yet. But I will try messing with it a bit more

  4. I don't have such a problem. In fact when I import CWLP into a particular Sunday it shows as two seperate services. Might I suggest clicking on the date part of the calendar and then plan the service with a new DS. It worked for me.

  5. Yes; clicks are registered differently depending on where your mouse pointer is when hovering over a date on the calendar. If you click on the service title itself, it will open that service (or create one if it's for the suggested service for that day).

If you click elsewhere within the calendar cell, you should be able to create a new service. The pop-up dialogue will be a different color and it will specifically say "new service".

Please let us know if you are experiencing additional problems with this.

  6. I have solved a similar problem by adding to the file name when saving a service. We currently are using DS4 with a folded legal size paper. It will save as 2009-11-01 All Saints Day.doc. Then, I also need to create a Letter size unfolded document with text for the hymns and words only for the liturgy. This file is sent to a Braille formatter to produce a Braille bulletin for one of our members. At the time of saving the file I simply add (Ted) to the file name, so 2009-11-01 All Saints Day.doc becomes 2009-11-01 (Ted)All Saints Day.doc and there is no conflict in names.
