The Concordia Publishing House offices are closed on December 25, December 26, January 1, and January 2. In addition, we have limited staffing on December 29–31 and take time as a company to worship together on the afternoon of the 24th.
Due to this schedule, participation on the forum will be extremely limited until we are all back in the office on the 5th of January. There will be no updates to Lutheran Service Builder until that time.
We pray that your congregation's celebration of the incarnation of our Lord is a blessed one, and look forward to continuing to serve you in 2009.
Let all mortal flesh keep silence
And with fear and trembling stand;
Ponder nothing earthly-minded,
For with blessing in His hand
Christ our God to earth descending
Comes our homage to demand.
--LSB 621:1; Text: Liturgy of St. James, 5th. cent.; tr. Gerard Moultrie
God's richest blessings to you as together we wonder at the mystery of His incarnation for the forgiveness of our sins.
